Homemade Toothpaste!

I know it is hard to avoid toxins and chemicals in todays life but when I can I try my best to avoid them the best I can ... So, one of the ways I have done this, is by making my own toothpaste.
The toothpaste contains no flouride or anything else nasty ...

Ingredients for Homemade Toothpaste:

Half cup of organic Coconut Oil.

1 level tablespoon of Bicarbonate of soda.

20/40 drops of essential Tee Tree Oil.

There is no need to melt the coconut oil just mash all ingredients together with a fork and then store in a clean glass jar with a lid. Keep at room tempature. Just put some on your toothbrush and brush as normal, the only thinkg is, you may want to spit the paste into a tissue when finished and put in the bin as it may block your sink because of the oil.

If you do not want to make your own toothpaste ... you can buy non-flouride Toothpaste Here
This gentle, non-fluoride formula contains aloe vera and bee propolis to help to strengthen and protect teeth and gums whilst fighting plaque. With no bleaching agents, children and adults will love it!

A Smooth Country Move!

We have just moved to the country surrounded by forest and hills and all day long I can only hear the birds singing .... such a change from the city. I love it here tho... it is so peacful. Here's a wee peek ~

Yesterday was the first day that we had any healthy food in weeks ... as we had no working kitchen in the house, so we were eating microwave food ... it is better than having no food and I am grateful as food is food but you just can't beat healthy clean eating. Anyway the kitchen is nearly finished and I got a smoothie maker.

I chopped up cucumber, ginger, beetroot and added strawberries, green grapes and Chia bia seeds.
Poured in the Coconut milk and a shot of Aloe Vera Gel for extra health benefits :) and then blittz it all together!
I was delighted with the results ... it tasted healthy and it kept me full for ages .. great for breakfast or before and after workouts ... for anytime really :) Next time I will add Forever Lite Ultra protein powder ...as soon I get my new order from FLP :)

This is one I did today!

I just make up my own recipes and add the most important ingredient Aloe Vera Gel as the aloe will carry all the vitamins and minerals deeper into your cells for huge health benefits, full of vital antioxidants, so it is great for your body, skin and wonderful for antiageing ... so get smoothie making and add your Aloe Vera Gel.. Enjoy! :) *Disclaimer

Spring Is In The Air!

Just a wee tip!

Oh no more wrinkles!
Feed your skin with vitamin C, as this helps to build up collagen fibers in your skin and also helps to improve elasticity in your skin ...

Also, drink Aloe Vera Gel as it is the perfect carrier to carry the vitamin C so deep into your skin cells to rejuvenate and plump out your skin, keeping it perfectly hydrated, smooth and young looking ... oh and do not forget to drink water through out the day, to help flush out any toxins and keep your body hydrated with a spring in your step! :)

Oh, Hidden In The Layers Of an Onion!

Onions!

The humble old onion ... I used to hate them growing up along with nearly every other vegetable ... well I am glad to tell you I have now grown up and I love onions! :)lol

Why is loving onions so important ?

Well, if you eat a raw or steamed onion, it will ensure that sufficent lactic acid bacteria are formed in your intestines giving you a healthy gut, which will help to improve your immune system and help prevent bloating, yay! ... a flatter tummy, so eat onions on a regular basis to help you feel better and improve your health ...

If you do not like onions then you can always drink Aloe Vera Gel, which wil give you the wonderful health benefits of a healthy gut amoung many other health benefits ...
Hey, better still, drink Aloe and eat Onions! :)
Good health to you.

Carrot Eyes

Just a wee tip ~

Carrots ... why do we need them in our diet ?

Carrots contain carotin which is converted into vitamin A in your intestines ...

Why is vitamin A good for you?

Vitamin A is awesome for your eyes and your skin and also helps to reduce stress ...

So if you get a fit of the munchies ... munch on carrot sticks instead of crisps, dip them into hummous ..yum yum! :)

Juice your carrots too ... a nice fast way to get them into your system quicker and especially if you add 30 mls of Aloe Vera Gel into the carrot juice as Aloe Vera gel is an excellent carrier for nutrition into your system.

My Dad did not need reading glasses until he was nearly seventy ...the reason was he ate carrots everyday and drank Aloe Vera Gel every morning. *Disclaimer
