Homemade Toothpaste!

I know it is hard to avoid toxins and chemicals in todays life but when I can I try my best to avoid them the best I can ... So, one of the ways I have done this, is by making my own toothpaste.
The toothpaste contains no flouride or anything else nasty ...

Ingredients for Homemade Toothpaste:

Half cup of organic Coconut Oil.

1 level tablespoon of Bicarbonate of soda.

20/40 drops of essential Tee Tree Oil.

There is no need to melt the coconut oil just mash all ingredients together with a fork and then store in a clean glass jar with a lid. Keep at room tempature. Just put some on your toothbrush and brush as normal, the only thinkg is, you may want to spit the paste into a tissue when finished and put in the bin as it may block your sink because of the oil.

If you do not want to make your own toothpaste ... you can buy non-flouride Toothpaste Here
This gentle, non-fluoride formula contains aloe vera and bee propolis to help to strengthen and protect teeth and gums whilst fighting plaque. With no bleaching agents, children and adults will love it!

Madeup Cakes

Made Up Pancakes!

My son just loves pancakes, the sugar free ones :)

I made these up by experimenting in the kitchen .... just throwing things together in a bowl and they came out lovely.

I like to use organic ingredients as much as I can, as it is healthier.

Ingredients ~

One cup of organic spelt flour.

One cup of orgainc oats.

Half cup of wheat germ.

Quarter cup of organic Cocoa.

Quarter cup of coconut bits and sesame seeds.

Two organic eggs.

Pour in the milk on top of the eggs and dry ingredients in the bowl ... I like to use organic almond milk ... stir while you pour until you get the right consistency ... not too thick and not too watery .... you will know : )

Shallow fry them in olive oil ... until nice and brown on both sides.

Here is the finished result .... they actually taste nicer than they look! lol

Beat The Sweat ~ The Homemade Way

Did You Know ~

Deodrants and antiperspirants
contain many bad chemicals which are very harmful to the human body ... for example one of the bad chemicals are Aluminum-based compounds ...

I decided not to flood my body with such horendous chemicals anymore, so this is what I have made as an alternative Deodrant/antiperspirant which is all natural with no bad chemicals and so much healthier for you.

It is simple and easy to make.

Here is the ingredients
~

A cup of organic Coconut Oil.

A teaspoon of Arrowroot Powder.

A teaspoon of Bicarbonate Soda.

30 drops of Tee Tree essential Oil.

30 drops of Lavender essential oil.

Mix all together and keep covered in a clean bowel.

Finished product in container ... I used an old washed Marmite jar, it did the job perfectly! :)

Use everyday as required.

I find this recipe works ... I exercise alot, so my home made deodrant is tried and tested and works very well.

If you do not feel like making your own ... you can buy your very own natural deodrant/antiperspirants here.
